Newly appointed club captain Paul Sinnott and second place all-time goalscorer for the club Alan Murphy are available for selection.

Renmore native Sinnott returns from serving a suspension picked up last season, while Murphy makes a return from injury that has seen him out of action for a year..

Galway United manager Sean Connor has a full squad to choose from going to Dundalk.

Dundalk are without suspended keeper Peter Cheerie, who serves an automatic 1 match ban after his dismissal in the televised game in Tallaght Stadium last Friday night against Shamrock Rovers.

Speaking about Dundalk Connor pointed out that; "...the opposition tonight are working off a budget three and a half times that of Galway."

"Dundalk have two of the best strikers in the league, two of the best centre halves and quality in midfield. They will be there or thereabouts this season and we'll have to make it difficult for them and do our best to take some points off them.

Speaking about last Friday night's he said; "The turnout for the match last week against St. Pats was very very positive and we'll be looking to give them something positive tonight, with an eye towards U.C.D. in Terryland Park next week."
