FAI Cup Round 3.

Galway United romped to a 5-0 win against Malahide United, courtesy of goals from Rhys Meynell, Danny Butler (og), Anthony Flood, Karl Sheppard and Cian O'Brien.

Rhys Meynell scored his second of the season in the 4th minute of the game following a close range effort. An own goal by Danny Butler following an Anto Flood cross put United two up on 15 mins. Karl Sheppard crossed for Flood to make it three on 29 minutes. Two minutes into the second half Sheppard made it two with a header from a Gary Curran cross. On 85 minutes Cian McBrien struck home with a 25 yard shot.
