Galway United FC is pleased with the decision of the Independent Licensing Appeals committee to grant the club a Premier Division Licence for the 2011 season.

The club would like to thank the committee for the manner in which it dealt with Galway United¹s appeal.

Galway United FC would like to thank those at the club who assisted with the appeal, all our supporters who made financial contributions, and the people of the city and county for their best wishes over the past few days.

The club now looks forward to our first Premier Division match of the season, versus St Patricks Athletic at Terryland Park on Friday 4th March and continuing our long and proud participation in the League of Ireland.
