Galway take on Sporting Fingal on Friday with a 7.45pm KO in Terryland Park.

Stephen O'Donnell was sent home from the Airtricity squad when he suffered a knee injury in training. He is expected to be fit for Friday's game.

Young Steven Walsh took a heavy knock last week in UCD but he was back in training during the week and should be fit to play. Walsh has impressed in his two starts with United and Sean Connor acknowledged his contribution.

“Yeah, he's been a revelation because it's the first time we've put him in. We know what he's like. We've had him since he played against Hull City for ten minutes, and he's worked hard for the reserves. He's full of energy, bravery. He's a great belief in himself, and he basically does what you tell him, and that's refreshing for a manager. His job now is force himself into the team in his best position”.

Referee: D. Hanney

KO: 7.45pm
