Galway United are delighted to announce the signing of 24 year old goalkeeper Greg Fleming.

Edinburgh native Fleming started his career at Livingston, spending a year at the Almondvale Stadium. He subsequently moved on to Gretna where he made a big impact, resulting in him earning a call-up to the Scottish U21 team and being rewarded with a 2-year contract extension.

After leaving the financially troubled Gretna, he signed for English League 1 side, Oldham Athletic, but his progress this season was halted by a knee injury sustained in pre-season. He was released by Oldham at the end of January.

Sean Connor will likely be able to call upon his services for the season opener against St. Pats.
