Galway United are always looking for people to lend a helping hand to the club.

We have a small but strong group of dedicated volunteers who help out on a weekly basis. The more people we have helping out behind the scenes, the stronger we are.

There are several ways that you can contribute:

1. Join our poster team

The team put up 100-150 colour glossy posters for every home game, as well as posters for  various club events and general promotional posters for Galway United.

The team puts up between 4-5,000 posters per year. If you have an hour or two to spare on a Monday or Tuesday night before a home fixture, especially if you have a car and live outside the city centre, we could do with your help. Give the club a call on (091) 5767336.

2. Contribute to the match programme

Seán Flaherty is the programme editor and he is looking for contributors.

3. Become a member of the match-day security team

This mainly involves stewarding at home games. You won't miss a bit of the action! GUFC are always looking for additional members of this team. Please contact Tommy Shields at (087) 2930738.

4. Club fundraising

The Galway United management committee always looking for match sponsors, player sponsors, ground advertising, etc. In addition the office always needs individuals to help out with various events - golf classics, dog nights, etc. If you are aware of any potential source of revenue for GUFC or would like to help with fundraising events, please give Mike or Tommy a call at (091) 767336.

5. Matchday Sales

Volunteers are always needed on United matchdays for selling progammes, half-time draw tickets etc. Please give Mike or Tommy a call at (091) 767336 if you would like to get involved with the matchdays in Terryland Park.

6. Club Website

The website team are current working to improve www.galwayunitedfc.ie and the webmasters always welcome any help that supporters may have to offer.
