Athlone Town the visitors to Deacy Park on Friday

Galway United host Athlone Town at Eamonn Deacy Park on Friday night (July 6th). Kick-off is at 7.45pm!

Newly appointed United boss Alan Murphy wants to bridge the gap between his side and the clubs in the promotion play-off places.

Murphy said: “It will be a 90 minute performance, it will be a committed performance and hopefully it will be a performance that Galway people and the club, squad and everyone involved can be proud of.

“We need to look forward with a bit of excitement for the weeks to come.”
